উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা সংসদ নির্ধারিত HS Nutrition Syllabus 2024 দ্বাদশ শ্রেণীর পুষ্টিবিজ্ঞান সিলেবাস ২০২৪ এবং নাম্বার বিভাজন দেওয়া হল।

পশ্চিমবঙ্গ উচ্চমাধ্যমিক শিক্ষাবিজ্ঞান সিলেবাসের বিবরণ: The total marks for WB HS 2024 Nutrition Subject Examination will 100, out of which 70 marks for the written exam and 20 marks for Nutrition Pratical. The question pattern and Marks distribution of  HS Nutrition 2024 question paper are given below.

HS Nutrition Syllabus 2024

THEORY (70 Marks)

A. Nutritive Process and Concepts of Calorie

  • 1. Food utilisation by the body: digestion, absorption and metabolism.
  • 2. Energy requirement during rest, different physical activities and physiological conditions, e.g. growth, pregnancy and lactation.

B. Dietetics and Diet Planning

  • 1. Balance diet for pregnant and nursing mothers.
  • 2. Feeding of infants- breastfeeding vs. artificial feeding. Infant weaning food.
  • 3. Defective feeding of infants as the cause of α malnutrition.
  • 4. Formulation of a low-cost balance diet from locally available cheap foods.
  • 5. Preparation of simple therapeutic diets.
  • 6. Methods of food preservation.

C. Nutrition for the Community

  • 1. The common deficiency diseases in India: Protein calorie malnutrition, Vitamin A malnutrition, anaemia, goitre, etc.
  • 2. Supplementary feeding for vulnerable groups. based on locally available food.
  • 3. Prepare a liquid diet to alleviate diarrhoea.
  • 3. Nutrition education for the community including cooking demonstrations.
  • 4. Methods of a survey of food consumption and food habits in families.
  • 5. Elementary idea about the current National Nutritional Programmes in India.
  • 6. Use of food value tables and calculation of the nutritive value of the diet.

PRACTICAL (30 marks)

  • 1. Detection of carbohydrates, protein (albumin) and fat in food.
  • 2. Preparation of nutritious snacks for School Tiffin.
  • 4. Prepare a day’s diet for an average adult woman, with allowances for pregnant and nursing mothers.
  • 5. Carry out diet surveys in a family and interpret the results in terms of adequacy.
